DexProtector 9.5 Released

We are proud to announce the release of DexProtector 9.5.

Beta builds of Android Q became available for developers and beta testers earlier than last year's Developer Previews. A lot of new security features and improvements were introduced in Android Q. And we are proud to announce that our development team has added support for them in the new version of DexProtector.

The unique functionality of DexProtector is the multi-layer protection of Android Libraries (AAR). The new version of DexProtector allows you to use DexProtector CryptoModule for protection of your Android Libraries (payment, financial, medical, scientific, etc.). DexProtector CryptoModule is capable of automatic protection of Android/Java Crypto API usage, secure cryptographic key material storage and performing cryptographic operations with them inside Secure Execution Environment (virtual TEE). This new feature is especially demanded by developers of solutions that interact with various payment systems, such as MasterCard and Visa. DexProtector CryptoModule is available (licensed separately) for DexProtector Enterprise licensees.

The support for the iOS platform is one of the priority vectors of development of DexProtector Enterprise. It securely and robustly protects iOS Applications and Frameworks (IPA and .Framework) providing the best in breed String Encryption, Hide Access (hiding of method calls, control flow obfuscation) and SSL Pinning. Now we are happy to announce that we improved the Environment Checks module that is embedded automatically and transparently into your application.

When it comes to the iOS platform, in most of the cases, it is crucial to check the application's integrity and detect Jailbreak, especially when we talk about hybrid applications (Xamarin, etc.). For such applications, the Environment Checks module can be embedded automatically as well into the finished IPA. And also, it is not required that your IPA contains bitcode.
